This Privacy Policy explains how Linkedify, available at linkedify.ai, processes personal data.
1. Who we are
Linkedify is a software service that helps users manage LinkedIn based lead generation and messaging workflows. For personal data processed through the Linkedify platform: You, the user, act as the data controller, Linkedify acts as a data processor, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This Privacy Policy applies to visitors and users of linkedify.ai and the Linkedify application.
2. Personal data we process
We process the following personal data of users: name, email address, account and authentication details, LinkedIn account connection metadata, configuration of campaigns and automations, and usage and activity logs. When people interact with your LinkedIn content, we may process: publicly available LinkedIn profile information, name and LinkedIn profile URL, job title and company name if publicly visible, interaction metadata such as comments and timestamps, and messaging status and delivery metadata. Messages sent through Linkedify are processed to deliver the service. Where possible, message content is not stored persistently and only metadata is retained.
3. Purposes of processing
We process personal data to: provide and operate the Linkedify service, execute automated actions on behalf of users, manage campaigns and lead workflows, enable bulk messaging and lead exports upon user request, monitor system performance and prevent misuse, provide customer support and troubleshooting, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use personal data to train public AI models or for unrelated marketing purposes.
4. Legal bases for processing
Depending on the context, processing is based on: performance of a contract with the user, legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or user instructions as data controller. Users are responsible for determining the appropriate legal basis for contacting leads and processing third party data.
5. Bulk actions and exports
Linkedify allows users to perform bulk actions such as: sending messages to groups of leads, and exporting lead lists and campaign data. These actions are initiated explicitly by the user. Once data is exported, the user becomes solely responsible for its security, storage, and lawful use.
6. Data retention
We apply data minimization and retention limits. In general: user account data is retained while the account is active, lead data is retained for a limited period to support campaign management, message metadata is retained for operational and audit purposes, and audit and access logs are retained for security and compliance. Specific retention periods may be enforced automatically. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time, subject to legal obligations.
7. Subprocessors and third party services
Linkedify relies on trusted third party service providers, including: Unipile for LinkedIn connectivity, Supabase for data storage, and Modal for background and automation processing. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Their services may be located in the European Union or other regions with appropriate protections. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8. International data transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are applied, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.
9. Security measures
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including: access controls and role based permissions, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, logging and monitoring of sensitive access, and segmentation of tenant data. No system can be guaranteed to be fully secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.
10. Your rights
Users and affected individuals have the right to: access personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of data, request restriction of processing, object to processing where applicable, and receive a copy of their data in a portable format. 11. Complaints
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes materially affect how we process data, users may be asked to review and accept the updated policy.
